We stayed in a neighborhood called La Barceloneta which sticks out into the Mediterranean on a tiny peninsula and is adjacent to the harbor. These are from around the area:
We really like Gaudi so a massive majority of the pictures we took are of Gaudi-designed locales. They are just SO neat!!!
La Sagrada Familia was begun in 1882 and has an estimated completion date of 20-ish years from now. It is awesome in a very literal sense, enough so that we plan to return in a couple decades see the power that comes with its finality.
Park Güell was originally designed to be a utopian community as was the fad at the time. The project ran out of money and was bought up by the city and now it’s a park.
